3. Acceptable Use
You may use OCSR.ai for lawful purposes including:
- Academic and scientific research.
- Pharmaceutical and biotech drug discovery.
- Chemical safety assessment and regulatory compliance support.
- Educational purposes.
- Commercial research and development.
3.1 Prohibited Activities
You must NOT:
- Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to systematically extract data from the Platform without prior written authorization.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our proprietary machine learning models, algorithms, or scoring methods.
- Circumvent or interfere with rate limits, security measures, or access controls.
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense data obtained from the Platform as a standalone database product.
- Use the Platform to design, synthesize, or distribute controlled substances, chemical weapons, or any substance intended to cause harm.
- Misrepresent the source of data by removing attribution to OCSR.ai, Rasayan Labs, or upstream data sources (PubChem, ChEMBL, FDA).
- Submit malicious inputs designed to exploit vulnerabilities, inject code, or corrupt data.
- Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law.
4. Rate Limits & Fair Use
- The Platform enforces rate limits on search, prediction, similarity, and AI endpoints to ensure equitable access for all users.
- Interactive human use is not subject to restrictive limits under normal circumstances.
- Automated or programmatic access exceeding 100 requests per minute may be throttled or blocked.
- Sustained high-volume access patterns that degrade service for other users will result in temporary IP-based restrictions.
- For authorized API access, bulk data extraction, or integration partnerships, contact [email protected].
5. Proprietary Services & API Restrictions
The following services are proprietary to Rasayan Labs Inc. and are available exclusively through the OCSR.ai platform interface:
- Image-to-SMILES (OCSR): Our optical chemical structure recognition engine that converts images of molecular structures to machine-readable SMILES notation. This service is not available for external API consumption. For API access or licensing, contact [email protected].
- Tanimoto Similarity Search: Our molecular similarity search engine using Morgan fingerprints across 1.3 trillion molecules. Bulk similarity queries require authorization.
- ADMET & Toxicity Prediction Services: Our machine learning prediction endpoints for toxicity screening, safety endpoints, and pharmacokinetic predictions are rate-limited and access-controlled.
- Darvi AI: Our chemistry-focused AI assistant is available through the OCSR.ai compound pages only.
All API endpoints are authenticated and protected. Unauthorized programmatic access to these services constitutes a violation of these Terms and may result in permanent IP blocking and legal action.
6. Data Accuracy & Predictions Disclaimer
All molecular data, computational predictions, and AI-generated responses are provided for informational and research purposes only.
- Toxicity Predictions: Ames mutagenicity, Tox21, and safety endpoint predictions are computational screening-level estimates. They do not constitute formal (Q)SAR assessments as defined under ICH M7(R2), OECD Guidance Document 69, or EU REACH Annex XI. Experimental Ames testing (OECD 471/473) remains required for regulatory submissions.
- ADMET Predictions: Blood-brain barrier, bioavailability, CYP450 inhibition, and pharmacokinetic predictions are generated by machine learning models and should be validated experimentally before making drug development decisions.
- Clinical Data: Drug development phase, indications, and mechanism data are sourced from ChEMBL and may not reflect the most current regulatory status.
- Darvi AI: Responses from Darvi are AI-generated and may contain inaccuracies. Darvi should not be used as the sole basis for safety, toxicological, or clinical decisions.
- Literature & Patents: Patent and publication data is sourced from public databases and may not be comprehensive or current. Patent expiry dates are estimated (filing date + 20 years) and do not account for extensions, supplementary protection certificates, or regional variations.
- No Medical Advice: Nothing on this Platform constitutes medical, pharmaceutical, or clinical advice. Always consult qualified professionals for healthcare decisions.
7. Intellectual Property
